The first screen explains the complete proposition and lets the visitor test the binary interaction.

The problem before the pixels.

Software enquiries usually begin with vague scope, hidden budgets, scheduling calls, and a long negotiation before either side knows whether the project is viable. BuildOrPass needed to compress that uncertainty without making payment or confidential requirements feel casual.

  • The customer states the complete brief and maximum budget before payment.
  • The selected review fee buys a human review—not development work or guaranteed acceptance.
  • Private briefs must stay private, while opted-in decisions can become public proof.
  • The operator must decide securely without introducing chat, bidding, or negotiation.

Four decisions shaped the build.

  1. 01

    The rules became the interface

The landing page, four-step brief, legal copy, payment states, and status timeline all repeat the same fixed sequence. Visitors can understand the product before they reach checkout.

  2. 02

    Money receives server-side proof

Razorpay orders, signatures, captured-payment checks, webhook recovery, deposits, and refunds are treated as recorded states rather than optimistic browser messages.

  3. 03

    The operator route stays operational

The private decision desk uses origin-bound passkeys, revocable sessions, fresh verification for irreversible actions, a conversion ledger, and sanitized system signals.

  4. 04

    Privacy remains a customer choice

Each customer receives a token-gated status page. Public decisions appear only after payment, judgment, and an explicit private, anonymous, or named visibility choice.

BuildOrPass payment stage explaining the dual-currency review fee
The scroll story turns payment policy into a visible product state instead of burying it in sales copy.

What shipped.

  • Responsive brand site and scroll-directed decision story
  • Validated four-step project brief and dual-currency Razorpay checkout
  • Signature-verified review payments, deposits, webhooks, and refunds
  • Passkey-only operator desk with step-up authorization
  • Private customer status, kickoff handoff, and transactional email
  • Opt-in public judgment board, technical SEO, and launch monitoring

The result.

The result is one coherent working system: a visitor can understand the rules, submit a serious brief, pay for review, receive a private decision, fund an accepted BUILD, and prepare kickoff without entering a conventional agency sales funnel.
