Terms of service
These terms govern paid project-review submissions to BuildOrPass.
Eligibility
You must be able to enter a binding contract and be authorized to request the proposed work. You may not submit illegal, deceptive, infringing, adult, gambling, weapons, malware, surveillance-abuse, or other high-risk projects.
The review service
The $2 charge purchases a review of one submitted brief and a BUILD or PASS decision. It is not a development deposit, estimate, or promise of acceptance.
No negotiation
The submitted maximum budget is a ceiling. If we select BUILD, later scope additions are excluded and require a new written agreement or new pitch. Clarifying ambiguous facts does not require either party to accept changed terms.
BUILD is conditional
A BUILD decision remains subject to due diligence, technical feasibility, a written statement of work, payment milestones, and lawful use. No development begins until the separate project agreement is signed and its deposit is received.
Your content
You keep ownership of your submitted materials. You grant BuildOrPass permission to review and process them to provide the service. Public display is limited by your selected visibility setting. Never submit secrets or regulated data.
Availability and liability
We may reject abusive or fraudulent submissions and may suspend the service for security or maintenance. To the extent permitted by law, liability for the $2 review service is limited to the amount paid for that review. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
